Version 1.2.8 – Ability to run sfott from the booted key
in the system and/or in booted sfott key .
Copy executables needed to run sfott from the booted key (as they are not in the BaseSystem):
/usr/bin/arch ; /usr/bin/id ; /usr/bin/clear ;
/usr/bin/basename ; /usr/bin/which ; /usr/bin/open ;
/usr/bin/osacompile ; /usr/bin/osalang ; /usr/bin/osadecompile ;
/usr/bin/osascript ; /bin/bash ; /bin/sh
Made a /usr/sbin/sfott so we can launch it easily in Terminal from the booted key.
Just run sfott and you’ll be able to patch again the key, make a newone if needed.
this is in prevision we would need to patch again the System (not yet implemented)
version v1.2.8 – Possibilité de lancer Sfott depuis la clé
Ajout des éxecutables necessaires et non présents dans le BaseSystem par défaut
/usr/bin/arch ; /usr/bin/id ; /usr/bin/clear ;
/usr/bin/basename ; /usr/bin/which ; /usr/bin/open ;
/usr/bin/osacompile ; /usr/bin/osalang ; /usr/bin/osadecompile ;
/usr/bin/osascript ; /bin/bash ; /bin/sh
Création d’un executable /usr/sbin/sfott pour pouvoir lancer le script depuis la clé bootée.
Lancer sfott depuis le terminal et il sera possible de lancer le script pour patcher à nouveau la clé et bientôt le Système (pas encore implémenté)
Thanks for your work on this. I ran your script and created a stick with a 16gb patriot for the Mac Pro 1,1
did this with a newer laptop exactly as you instructed.
the startup on the pro sees the usb and selected it to boot then it goes to the grey apple logo screen and it ends there.
any suggestions?
Hi,
well it goes grey on the MacPro or on the laptop?
For the Laptop you just don’t have to use the key if by newer you mean “new”.
I think it is supported and if so just don’t use the boot.efi.
This is something I too want to add the ability to create a standard key.
With a 16bg this would be easy like making two partitions and having a SFOTT key and a regular Key.
